Maralynn has lived at Elkhart Place for 5 years. Her favorite part of living here is the people and the beautiful courtyard and patio areas. Her favorite activity in our community is Bingo, but she also loves cooking, baking, and playing cards. She loves the staff and said the Executive Director, Terri, “Is a sweetheart, and I love her very much.”

Maralynn says that the secret to a long happy life is is enjoying time with your loved ones, by being willing to compromise.

Ruth has lived at Kokomo Place for 10 YEARS! Her favorite part about living here is that all the people are so friendly and that it is just an overall happy place to live. Ruth enjoys reading, leading morning devotion with the other residents, attending the live music shows, and meeting her walking goals each day.

Her favorite life experience was visiting Europe with a young family friend she met from the car club she was a member of with her husband.

John has lived at Trail Creek Place for 2 years now. John enjoys interacting with the staff and the residents he sits and chats with. He has a golf range that he loves to bring out and play golf with the employees and other residents. But his favorite thing to do is go in the courtyard and sunbathe, or help take care of the flowers!

When asked what is the secret to a long happy life, he quickly responded saying, "Having a good partner for life!.... And having good health helps too" 🙂
